About the Journal

Mafatiha: Journal of Islamic Studies  is published through a collaboration between the Miftahul Ulum Lumajang Islamic Institute and the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of the Miftahul Ulum Lumajang Islamic Institute.

Mafatiha: Journal of Islamic Studies focuses on Islamic studies, examining the subject from various perspectives—including communication, anthropology, education, economics, sociology, philology, Sharia, philosophy, and other areas of Islamic inquiry. The journal is published biannually, in June and December.

The editorial board invites academics, lecturers, and researchers to contribute to the journal. The languages ​​of publication are Indonesian and English.

The journal is open access, meaning all content is available free of charge to both individual users and institutions. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or cite the full text of articles for lawful purposes without requiring prior permission from the publisher or the author.
