Abstrak

This study aims to describe the teacher's strategy in increasing student learning motivation with effective classroom management. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological approach with the aim of emphasizing more on understanding the phenomena that occur in the classroom and the interaction between teachers and students. The research subjects were lower grade teachers, namely the homeroom teacher of class II of Madrasah Ibtida'iyah Hidayatul Mubtadi'in Sumberbaru Jember with a total of 1 teacher. Data collection techniques were carried out in three ways, namely by interview, observation and documentation. The results of the study showed that for a teacher in increasing student learning motivation, it is reflected in the optimization of effective classroom management, the existence of encouragement and needs in learning, the existence of hopes and ideals for the future, the existence of appreciation in learning, and the existence of a conducive learning environment.
