PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENENTUKAN NILAI TEMPAT BILANGAN MELALUI MEDIA TANGGA PINTAR BAGI ANAK KESULITAN BELAJAR BERHITUNG

Abstrak

Smart ladder media is a 3-dimensional ladder-shaped teaching aid that is designed in such a way as to support learning. This research aims to determine the increase in the ability to determine the place value of numbers using smart ladder media for children with difficulty learning to count in class IV at MI Nurul Islam Banyuputih Kidul, Jatiroto District, Lumajang Regency. The problem formulation in this research is the impact of smart ladder media in improving the ability to determine the place value of numbers for children who have difficulty learning to count in class IV at MI Nurul Islam Banyuputih Kidul. This type of research uses the classroom action research (PTK) method which is carried out in 10 meetings in cycle I and cycle II. The results obtained in cycle I activities obtained percentages of 20%, 20%, 30%, 30%, 40%, and 50%. Meanwhile, the results obtained in cycle II activities showed a significant increase, namely percentages of 60%, 60%, 70% and 80%. Based on the research results, it is proven that the use of smart ladder media in determining the place value of numbers is effective for students who have difficulty counting.
